It's very telling when an avowed atheist uses Jesus Christ to promote an agenda, especially when using the tactic to vilify Christians into getting on board with a secular, primarily ideological mission. You betray the words of Christ when using God's name in vain, aiming his love at his precious followers for your purposes. Catholics are actively working to feed and care for all nationalities in the Gaza Strip, without attempting to ostracise one group or another. We pray, pay, and participate as we are called. Many do so at their peril. The political posturing by Hamas and its supporters endangers lives and justifies the cowardice of hostage-taking. Large-scale public demonstrations have done nothing to help the Palestinian children, the starving, the injured, and the hospitalized. None of the funds appear to go toward feeding Palestinians. Instead, the protests foster hatred of the Jewish people and may even be funding weaponry for Hamas, extending violence rather than establishing peace. Ask for God's help and surrender to his plans for you, rather than brandishing his words of love as your cudgel.

And he would not be standing with the fist and the boot as they arrest the old, the infirm, the blind and the lame. He would weep for the people of Palestine. And any Christian who says otherwise, betrays the words of Christ.
We’ve started Sing Palestine Vivra to encourage people to make public demonstrations of support for the people of Palestine. Eventually, we hope to be able to use Sing Palestine Vivra to organize large scale campaigns of public demonstrations of support for Palestinians.
