I’m in charge here!!
In all things, put your faith in the Lord. He IS in charge here.

PMoses has distinguished himself as the leader of the Israelites, delivering them from Egypt at God’s command. At the start of this task, Moses told God that he did not have the gift of speech that would be needed to deliver God’s message to Pharaoh. God directed Moses to use his older brother Aaron as the messenger. Miriam was the older sister of both Moses and Aaron. She became known as “the Prophet Miriam.” They complained, “Is it through Moses alone that the LORD speaks? Does he not speak through us also?” And the LORD heard this. We don’t need to “be in charge here” to be part of the solution.
Steve Leininger's reflections: For our knowledge is imperfect and our prophecy is imperfect; but when the perfect comes, the imperfect will pass away. (1 Corinthians 13:9)
What it felt like to be scolded by God
He guides us toward an eternity with him

The Scriptures are replete with such failures/inadequacies/foibles/sins committed by those who are the apparent stars of the narrative. From this fact we should be reminded of more than a few things. I can’t even imagine what it would feel like to be personally scolded by God. I’m sure both would have preferred that the incident had been confined to the deepest part of “forgotten.”
Steve Hall's reflections: For our knowledge is imperfect and our prophecy is imperfect; but when the perfect comes, the imperfect will pass away. (1 Corinthians 13:9)

It's very telling when an avowed atheist uses Jesus Christ to promote an agenda, especially when using the tactic to vilify Christians into getting on board with a secular, primarily ideological mission. You betray the words of Christ when using God's name in vain, aiming his love at his precious followers for your purposes. Catholics are actively working to feed and care for all nationalities in the Gaza Strip, without attempting to ostracise one group or another. We pray, pay, and participate as we are called. Many do so at their peril. The political posturing by Hamas and its supporters endangers lives and justifies the cowardice of hostage-taking. Large-scale public demonstrations have done nothing to help the Palestinian children, the starving, the injured, and the hospitalized. None of the funds appear to go toward feeding Palestinians. Instead, the protests foster hatred of the Jewish people and may even be funding weaponry for Hamas, extending violence rather than establishing peace. Ask for God's help and surrender to his plans for you, rather than brandishing his words of love as your cudgel.
Hi all, I am a lapsed Catholic and an atheist. But the question – What Would Jesus Do? – is still one I ask myself. And he would not be standing with the fist and the boot as they arrest the old, the infirm, the blind and the lame. He would weep for the people of Palestine. And any Christian who says otherwise, betrays the words of Christ.
